Sizes, proofs, shipping, and what we do if a piece arrives damaged.
What's it made of?
Authentic Kentucky bourbon barrel staves and heads, reclaimed and processed from used bourbon barrels. We don't claim a wood species.
Is it vinyl?
No. Every letter is stenciled and painted by hand.
How big is it?
Staves are 35 inches long and about 3.5-4.5 inches tall (each stave varies), about 2.8 pounds. Heads are 22 inches across and 2.25 inches deep, about 10.1 pounds.
Will mine look like the pictures?
Photos show a finished piece or a layout sample. Yours is handmade to match the description; the real grain, char and color vary.
How do proofs work?
After checkout we email a digital proof within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Reply APPROVED and we start painting. Want a change? Reply with it and we'll send a new proof.
When will it ship?
3-5 business days after you approve your proof, or after you order for ready designs. Shipping is free in the US.
Holiday deadlines?
Personalized by December 7; ready designs by December 13.
Can I return it?
We can't take returns or exchanges, because every piece is made for you.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email us as soon as you can. You choose: a free replacement or a refund. A photo helps, but there's no deadline for sending one.
