Stave & Spur ("we", "us") is a small Kentucky shop. This page explains what information we collect on https://stave-spur.pages.dev, why we collect it and who we share it with.

What we collect

When you buy something. Checkout runs on a page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects:

• your name, email address and US shipping address (billing address too, if Stripe asks for it);
• your card or other payment details. These go to Stripe, not to us. We can't see your full card number.
• your answers to the order questions at checkout, such as the name, address, date or town you want painted, your font and your finish.

Stripe then shares with us what we need to fill your order: your name, email, shipping address, what you bought, your order answers and the payment status.

When you email us about a proof, a custom order or a question, we keep the emails. That includes anything you send us, such as names, addresses for a realtor 5-pack, or files.

When you browse the site. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our host may keep standard server logs.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don't put it in the order questions.

How we use it

• To make, proof and ship your order, and to email you about it (proof, reminder, shipped notice, damage claims).
• To answer your questions and custom-order requests.
• To keep the records we need for taxes, accounting and payment disputes.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't use it for advertising. We don't send marketing emails.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payments. Stripe handles your data under its own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
• USPS, which gets your name and shipping address so they can deliver your order.
• The email service that stores our order messages.
• The host that serves this website.
• Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for tax, accounting, and damage questions, and we keep proof files so you can reorder.

Your choices

Use the contact page if you'd like to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We'll do it unless we have to keep it, for example for tax records.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
